Mrs. Biestek joined Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc., in August 2002 as a Senior Appraiser within the Valuation & Advisory group. In 2005 she was named Top Producer of the Houston office. Prior to joining C&W, Mrs. Biestek’s real estate experience began in 1982, when she worked in residential sales for LaQuarta, Gavrel and Kirk, Inc. In 1984, she was employed by O’Connell and Company, a Houston based real estate appraisal firm. From 1986 to 1988, she worked for Bach Thoreen and Associates. From 1989 to 2002, she was a senior real estate analyst with Coldwell Banker, (now CB Richard Ellis). Her expertise includes appraisals of freestanding, retail and restaurant properties and has extensive experience in the El Paso/Corpus Christi, Texas area. Appraisal and consulting assignments have included shopping centers and freestanding retail facilities, auto dealerships, multi-tenant and owner occupied office buildings and industrial facilities, multi-family properties, feasibility and market studies, vacant land, hotel/motel valuations, special use properties, net leased assets, mobile home parks and residential subdivisions throughout the United States and in Canada.
