Bio
Sam is a Broker at MECA Commercial Real Estate. Before joining MECA Commercial Real Estate, he worked for 10 years as a project manager and estimator for large construction firms. He successfully managed millions of dollars in commercial construction with projects varying from large institutional buildings to small retail up-fits and everything in between. His intimate knowledge of the construction process is a major asset when assessing and selling commercial real estate for his clients. Sam now has 7 years of commercial brokerage experience and concentrates his efforts in Gaston County, NC. He has sold six buildings in downtown Mt. Holly. He recently helped his clients open two Burn Boot Camps; one in Belmont and one is Wesley Chapel. He also sold 12 Acres in for The City of Bessemer City to a townhome developer who will build 90+ homes in the area. He also sold 725 Elm Street for the City of Mount Holly to Old Mecklenburg Brewery for a major redevelopment along the Catawba River. In 2017, Sam was admitted to the nationally acclaimed Coldwell Banker Commercial's Emerging Broker Training Program and graduated in May of that year. Admission to the EBT Program is highly competitive and the rigorous training program creates a successful brand of broker equipped to handle today's challenging market. Sam completed the course work ranked 1st among all participants. In 2018, he completed course work, sat, and passed the Exam to be a CCIM Designee. Sam wrestled in college for West Virginia University where he was voted team captain twice and earned All-American honors. He lived and trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. He currently lives in Belmont, NC with his three children Camryn (19), Jackson (12) and Tyler (12).
