Bio
Sam started his real estate career in 1972 in residential sales. He
started focusing on multi-family sales and development in the 1980’s
when he was Land Acquisition Manager for Summit Properties, a
multi-family developer based out of Charlotte, NC. Prior to joining
Commonwealth Commercial Partners, Inc. in 2003, he was a Senior
Vice President for the local affiliate of Grubb & Ellis where he was a
consistent Top Producer and awarded the Circle of Excellence. Some
of Sam’s past clients include Equity Residential, The Hanover Companies,
Roseland Property Company, Omni Corp., Crowne Partners,
S. L. Nusbaum, and Gumenick Properties, to name just a few.
Sam received his BA degree from the University of Richmond in 1971, and has attended continuing education classes at both VCU and the University of Richmond. Accomplishments Sam has been a consistent Top Producer and has been recognized by the Richmond Board of Realtors as such. He was awarded the Circle of Excellence by the Grubb & Ellis for being one of the Top 50 Producers in the country, and most recently was named a Partner in Commonwealth Commercial Partners, Inc.SPECIALTY Sam has over 33 years experience in commercial real estate where he has specialized in the sale and development of multi family, senior housing, hospitality land and existing facilities.
