Scott is a native of Valdosta and has been licensed and active in the local commercial-investment-land real estate market since 1982. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a BBA (1981) and MBA (1988). He also taught real estate for 12 years at Valdosta Technical College. Scott founded First Commercial in 1996 after seeing the need for a specialized independent commercial brokerage here. During his career he has sold and leased over $250 million in commercial properties.
