As co-founder and principal at SunCap, Scott Auker focuses on acquisitions, underwriting, and capital improvements. He has 30+ years of experience in acquisitions, development, entitlements, design, financing, construction, leasing, management, and property sales.
At SunCap, Mr. Auker oversees the capital improvement programs and is actively involved in day-to-day asset management. He has been involved in over $1 billion of commercial projects acquired, developed, or constructed across the US. Mr. Auker is a former founding partner of Avison Young-Florida, one of the largest real estate service companies in Florida. He was also a former founder of ADI where he developed and acquired multiple eight-figure projects across Florida.
Mr. Auker received a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering specializing in Construction Management from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration specializing in Real Estate from American University. He serves on the boards of two organizations: the National Christian Foundation and the Knox Theological Seminary.
