He has owned his own construction company, a seafood business, and worked at NASA (Kennedy Space Center) in design engineering. After studying and investing in real estate, Scott obtained his Real Estate License and moved to Tennessee to focus on selling mountain properties.<br /> <br />In conjunction with selling mountain properties, Scott designed and developed a resort, Mountain Stream Lodging & Realty, located in the scenic Hiwassee Valley of East Tennessee. This property has since been gifted in part to a non-profit organization.<br /> <br />His love of mountain and lake country eventually led him to the Seeley Swan Valley where he purchased land in 1995 and set down roots, thrilled at the opportunity to work, play, and live in this serene vacation paradise.<br /> <br />Scott's Personal philosophy dictates that living in a community requires giving back to that community, and he has an impressive record of involvement. Scott has served as a volunteer firefighter rescue technician for over 30 years. He is registered nationally as an Emergency Medical Technician, and also has been trained to Firefighter Level 3 status and earned certification in Cliff Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, and Advanced Extrication, among otther techniques. He has risen through all the ranks of Fire Service and in 2008 was promoted to Deputy Chief of the Seeley Lake Fire Department. In addition, he was elected to a 2nd term serving as Chairman of the Board for the Fire District - a position elected by the people of the community.<br /> <br />Scott is also an avid supporter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Seeley Lake Community Foundation and numerous other organizations and affiliations.<br /> <br />Scott Kennedy has invested and practiced real estate for over 30 years. Convinced that teamwork is essential in today's real estate market, Scott works with a team of assistants and staff dedicated to the lofty goal of excellence.<br /> <br />Scott has obtained over 1,000 hours of continuing education and training. He has accumilated over 1,000 transactions and/or listings during his real estate career. His dedication to excellence and commitment to his clients separates his as a leader and a true professional.<br /> <br />Scott has earned the most advanced degree in real estate, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). He also obtained the GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute), RRS (Recreational and Resort Specialist), and CTG (Certified Tennessee Graduate). Less than 1% of realtors carry these coveted credentials.
