Mr. McGregor began his real estate career over twenty-five years ago with the nation’s largest homebuilder. He was involved in all facets of land acquisition and market analysis for the Georgia Division of that firm and participated in the acquisition of numerous large land tracts, which were subsequently developed into thousands of new homes. He retains a particularly close relationship with most of the major builders and developers in Atlanta. Mr. McGregor is recognized as a leading expert in the sale of residential development property. He “grew up” in the industry, his father having developed thousands of single family homes, and he has been involved in the field his entire business career. Mr. McGregor is generally recognized as the top producing land broker in Atlanta, participating in over $650,000,000 of land transactions since 1995. In twelve of the past fourteen years he has been the recipient of the prestigious “Top Producer” award from the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, including #1 producer four times, #2 producer four times, and is the overall cumulative top producer over the past decade. He has negotiated the sale or acquisition of all classifications of land. He has represented clients ranging from private landowners to institutional and national clients such as Pulte Home Corporation, Transwestern Realty, Regions Bank, Cousins Properties, etc. His expertise with commercial land is extensive. Mr. McGregor has sold retail properties of all types and has been commissioned by several retail users for their site acquisition. He has represented national and local institutional sellers on regional and neighborhood retail sites, outparcels, and build-to-suits. Mr. McGregor has recently sold numerous apartment tracts in metropolitan Atlanta, which range in size from 150 to 600 units and involve local, regional, and national developers. Mr. McGregor’s expertise with multi-family land is widely recognized. A graduate of the University of Georgia School of Business with a degree in marketing, Mr. McGregor is a life member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the Commercial Million Dollar Club, a recipient of the prestigious Phoenix Award, and is a licensed broker with the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
