Scott D. Semrad is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business where he earned his MBA. He has worked for companies ranging from large global financial institutions to regional real estate development firms. Scott spent four years as a Financial Advisor with UBS PaineWebber before returning to school to earn his MBA. After his MBA Scott worked in acquisitions for Dividend Capital Trust, a large industrial REIT based in Denver, Colorado. From there he moved to an acquisitions and finance role for Mackenzie House, LLC; a regional real estate development firm focusing on senior housing, apartments, and condominiums.
Scott relocated to Omaha, Nebraska in August of 2007 to be closer to family. In the fall of 2007 Scott and Jerry were introduced to each other by a real estate professional who suggested that they consider forming a real estate partnership. After due diligence the two founded Midtown Properties, LLC in 2008 and later developed the Urban Village Brand in 2009.
