Born in rural Bulloch County, GA, Scottie grew up learning to be creative in finding ways to keep himself busy and learn new things. Coming from a family that has worked hard for what they have has taught him never to just hold his hand out, but to go out and roll up his sleeves. These ideas, along with a Christian background, great parents, a wonderful family, and some awesome mentors have allowed him to grow into the person that he is today. Growing up in South Georgia, this area is more than just dirt and buildings to him. He values the history, the sweat and blood, the memories, and excitement for the future as the area evolves and things change. While some of these things may change, one thing will always remain the same. That is the values, the integrity, the honesty, and hard work that he offers to his clients, customers, peers, and team. Coming up as an athlete, he learned that you have to outwork, outsmart, out-prepare, and outplay your opponents, but you always want to do it the right way. Today, as a husband and a father of three, he hopes that he can instill this mentality into his family, and into the future generations.
