Bio
Sean McDonald joined the Los Angeles office of Voit in 2015 after graduating
from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.
From the beginning it was clear that Sean’s strong interpersonal skills would
be the key to his success in the commercial real estate industry. He has a
remarkable ability to initiate and build strong personal relationships with
business and property owners, who are drawn to his high level of energy and
market knowledge that he delivers with a service-first approach.
Sean focuses on industrial properties, primarily distribution facilities, container
yards, cold storage space and leased investments for those product types in
the Central Los Angeles, South Bay and Orange County and Inland Empire
markets. His efforts have resulted in several accolades from Voit, including the
company’s Rising Star Award in 2016 and Largest Deal of the Year award in
2018. Sean was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2022. In 2021, he was
invited to join the Zehner Davenport Industrial Group, the company’s premier
brokerage team.
Sean has transacted on over 5 million square feet of industrial space with an
aggregate value in excess of $500 million.
Sean and his wife Hayley reside in Newport Beach and welcomed their first
child, Grady, to the family in May of 2021. He is an avid surfer, enjoys fishing,
and boating.
