Born in Hampton, VA, Shannon's life took her through various cities, including Cambridge, MA, Raleigh, NC, and New York, NY, before she returned to her Virginia roots in 2012. With over two decades of experience in event planning, marketing, and brand development, Shannon brings a unique skill set to her real estate partnerships.
Shannon's fascination with real estate traces back to her college days when she worked as an assistant to a real estate broker. In 2019, she decided to follow her passion for real estate full-time. Before becoming a Realtor, Shannon served as the Brand Director for The Virginia Tourism Corporation, where she championed the iconic "Virginia is for Lovers" brand. Prior to that, she held roles as the Public Communications and Marketing Director for the Department of Conservation and Recreation and Marketing Director for Virginia State Parks, overseeing statewide marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts.
Shannon's professional journey began in the bustling streets of New York City, where she excelled as a talent booker and fashion show producer for renowned fashion brands, including Macy's Special Events. Later, she co-founded SGBA Productions, an event planning company, alongside three college friends. Transitioning to marketing and brand development, Shannon took on challenging projects for esteemed companies such as Time Warner Corporate, Reader's Digest Association, Condé Nast, Time Inc., and Essence magazine.
Shannon earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in Greensboro, NC, and furthered her education at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.
Today, Shannon resides on the Northside of Richmond with her husband and two children. When she's not assisting buyers, sellers, and investors in the real estate realm, you can find Shannon indulging her culinary passions, exploring new destinations, or immersing herself in the beauty of the great outdoors.
