Shawn has dedicated the last two years to working primarily in the office sector as a leasing agent in the Core CBD. Concurrently, he has provided tenant rep services in the Industrial asset class. Shawn took on this role shortly after graduating from Rice University, where he earned a Masters of Global Affairs. His background as a former student-athlete at both Vanderbilt and Rice has instilled valuable lessons that he applies in the workplace.
Drawing from his experience as a former quarterback, Shawn excels in multitasking and demonstrates leadership both on and off the field. The competitive environment has allowed characteristics such as poise, savviness, and communication to blossom. He is an organized, goal-oriented individual with ambitious aspirations to gain knowledge.
During his undergraduate studies in Economics, Shawn discovered a keen interest in relational businesses over transactional ones. Building relationships has opened up opportunities that wouldn't have been feasible without pre-existing connections. Recognizing the global nature of today's economy, Shawn combined economics with Global Affairs, a choice that piqued his interest. The master's program equipped him with necessary skill sets applicable in real-world situations, including writing, data analysis, and in-depth research.
