Based in CBRE’s New York office, Mr. Petriello co-heads CBRE’s Alternative Investments Practice (AIP) which focuses on the financial services sector. He is well respected in the industry and has a successful track record of achieving optimal solutions for many of the world’s most prominent hedge funds and private equity firms.
With 25 years in the real estate industry, Silvio provides a big picture approach to every aspect of a transaction—from developing strategy to problem solving to a successful close. He began his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen and utilizes this deep financial background to holistically analyze the impact of real estate on his clients’ balance sheets. Known as a true “table setter,” he leverages passionate negotiating skills, a strong work ethic, in-depth market insight and a keen understanding of transaction intricacies. He consistently ranks as one of CBRE’s top producers globally.
Silvio is proud to have grown up in Eastchester, NY (Westchester County) as a first generation Italian American. He attended Iona Prep High School and Pace University, and has a deep commitment to his family and community. He is the recipient of an achievement award presented by the National Italian American Foundation at its New York Gala. He is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and was honored to be recognized by CBRE as Mentor of the Year for his work with young professionals.
