Sonya grew up in North Carolina and moved to the Triangle area after graduating from College. For more than a decade she has been involved in commercial real estate throughout the Southeastern United States with a focus on leasing, sales and development. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Sonya's career began in the Commercial Real Estate Arena as Vice President of Development for a large national franchise. During this time she successfully completed numerous transactions involving site selection, land acquisition, construction of new facilities, and renovation of existing properties. This career path has given Sonya a detailed understanding of what a Tenant desires, and an Owner requires. In addition, she has a keen appreciation for the demands of the development process. Sonya's success lies in her strong knowledge of the local marketplace and her negotiating skills to assist Investors, Tenants, Owners and Developers in their search for Commercial Real Estate Properties for occupancy or investments. Through these transactions, she has built relationships throughout the triangle area with local municipalities, business & financial leaders. Outside the office, Sonya enjoys participating in events that allow her to meet people. She serves on the board of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors. Has served as Co-Chairman of the Cary Chamber of Commerce Leadership Cary 2008-2009 Program, Chairman of the American Cancer Society Fund Raising Ball, Volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, supports other non-profit organizations, and is an active member in many of the Triangle Area Associations & Chambers of Commerce. She also enjoys playing golf, exercising, bicycling, the arts and traveling. She actively services in her Church and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
