Steve Bancroft is a Senior Managing Director of Trammell Crow Residential, the multifamily development company of Crow Holdings.
Steve joined Crow Holdings in 1998 as a Director and has since held various positions with the company. In 2011, he advanced to Senior Managing Director at Trammell Crow Residential, responsible for multifamily development activities in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Phoenix, Denver, and the Pacific Northwest.
Steve’s responsibilities while at Crow Holdings included leading the planning, design, development, TIF formation, and disposition of the Dallas Design District for the Crow Family; the placement, management, and disposition of multifamily, land, industrial and hotel assets for CHC Funds I-V (cumulatively over $3 billion of equity within the real estate funds); and the startup of an industrial development platform responsible for over 1.1 million square feet of speculative warehouse development within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Steve is actively involved in civic relations, including serving on the City of Dallas Downtown TIF Connection Board. He has also served multiple terms on The Real Estate Council Board where he serves on the PAC board, chaired the 21st Annual Fight Night (2009) and has held numerous leadership positions along the way.
