Stephen J. Knowlton is a knowledgeable and experienced real estate developer, business start-up entrepreneur and construction expert. He is a Certified ICBO Building Inspector with over 7,000 Building Inspections and a former California General and Structural Steel Contractor. As a builder and contractor, Stephen has built thousands of homes, buildings and public infrastructure. Stephen is an experienced AutoCAD Engineer and Building Designer, RSMeans CostWorks Construction Cost Estimator and a former Federal Emergency Response Official. After a successful career in business, real estate and development, Stephen worked with FEMA Public Assistance for six years as a Cost Estimator and Grant Writer. His knowledge of real estate and construction provided states, cities and counties with the expertise necessary to receive federal funding to rebuild after eighteen federally declared disasters. For several years, Stephen wrote a weekly column for the local newspaper; the column was titled “Steve Knows Real Estate.”
