Steve Michniewicz is Managing Director of Retail Services with responsibility for all retail asset property management and operational activities across Canada. Steve is based in Mississauga, Ontario and works extensively with acquisitions, development, and construction teams on core retail assets and leads management for a wide range of retail third-party clientele.
Steve has 25 years of real estate management and leasing experience. In 1999, Steve was appointed Vice President, Operations of the eastern retail division as part of Bentall's purchase of Pioneer Asset Management. Prior to the acquisition Steve held progressively more senior roles in leasing and property management of retail, mixed use and commercial real estate. Steve became Senior Vice President, National Retail Operations at Bentall Kennedy in 2014, after spending 4 years as Vice President, Operations at First Capital Realty.
Steve holds a BA in Applied Geography with a major in Urban Planning from Ryerson University in Toronto and is a member of ICSC, NAIOP and BOMA.
