Stephen Steelman serves as Regional Vice President of Construction in the Northeast region, which includes the metropolitan areas of Boston, New York City, Long Island, and northern New Jersey, in addition to the Southeast region. Mr. Steelman has over forty years of construction management experience on various project types and since joining Mill Creek Residential in 2010, has managed and overseen approximately $2 Billion in new construction, delivering 150 thousand square feet of retail shell space and over 3,000 new apartment homes.
Prior to joining Mill Creek, Mr. Steelman was Vice President of the Pharmaceutical Construction group with Turner Construction Company and managed construction of various facility types in the U.S.A. and the E.U. In addition, he previously served as Senior Vice President and Principal in Charge (Princeton Office) with Bovis Lend Lease responsible for Pharmaceutical Construction in the Americas and Puerto Rico. Responsibilities while with Turner and Bovis Lend Lease included the total business operations oversight for market growth and financial success.
Mr. Steelman holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (BAE), Construction Management Technologies from Penn State University.
