Mr. Woo joined MAA in July 2014. Prior to joining MAA, he led the tax departments of Education Realty Trust, Inc., a student housing REIT, Gate Gourmet, Inc. and RFS Hotel Investors, Inc., a hotel REIT. He began his career at Coopers & Lybrand which later became PricewaterhouseCoopers. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelors of Professional Accountancy and earned a Master of Professional Accountancy, Magna Cum Laude with an emphasis in Taxation also from Mississippi State University. Mr. Woo is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and serves on NAREIT’s Federal Tax Subcommittee.
