Bio
Steven joined CBCSCP in early 2015 as a Commercial Real Estate Broker specializing in Retail, Office, and Land Development properties. Before joining CBCSCP, he was the Commercial Director for KW Commercial in Jacksonville, NC. He brings with him extensive executive management experience at the CEO, VP, and Director levels. Steve was a Platinum Sales volume level winner in 2009 and 2010. As a well-respected Retail Industry veteran, he has earned numerous distinctions throughout his 30-plus years in the Retail Industry. As CEO of a regional Grocery Wholesaler, Retailer, and Distribution Company, he doubled the company’s sales volume in less than five years, taking the company from a loss to earnings well into the seven figures. He also has over twenty years’ experience with the Kroger Company, rising to the level of Division Director of Grocery with responsibility for over a billion dollars in annual sales for over one hundred store locations, successfully directing a team of forty-two professionals. During his career at Kroger, he was also an integral part of new store development as well as distribution and logistics optimization. He is currently pursuing his CCIM designation and has successfully completed all the required courses. Steve has served on several boards including the Jacksonville Board of Realtors, Realtors Commercial Alliance of Southeastern North Carolina, and Cape Fear Realtors among others. He lives in Hampstead with his wife, and enjoys golf, hiking in the mountains, and hanging out at the beach.
