Before joining Colliers International in 2018, Stephen Thain joined CBC Advisors in 2008 after having been affiliated with a nationwide privately held recreation land and ranch sales development company.
Stephen specializes in the sale of large rural farm or ranch properties. In the past 24 to 36 months, Stephen has been involved in the sale of 11,000 to 12,000 acres of recreation and ranch land. These transactions have resulted in over $15 million in sales. Having worked with an international clientele, Stephen has learned the art of salesmanship, developing an extremely professional approach to understanding the wants and needs of both buyers and sellers. Most important he has learned to listen to his clients.
After attending the University of Utah with studies in business and finance, Stephen obtained his real estate license in 1988. Being involved in real estate since this time, Stephen has obtained an extensive knowledge of the current market and the challenges along with it.
Being a native of Utah and developing a love for the great outdoors lead Stephen to pursue sales of outdoor rural farm and ranch properties.
