Barton has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience in the Atlanta market most recently with Insignia/ESG, where he was a Managing Director. During his tenure at Insignia/ESG, Barton was involved in a number of corporate headquarters relocations, office and warehouse leasing and sales, build-to-suit developments, site selection, rezoning, negotiation and financial analysis.

He also assisted in the Atlanta CBD land assemblages for Centennial Olympic Park and Coca-Cola Olympic City for the Summer 1996 Games.
