Steven began his real estate career in 1987 with a small Beachwood firm specializing in Tenant Representation. In the pursuit of larger transactions Steven then joined The Victor S. Voinovich Company as the company's suburban expert, as the majority of the other brokers specialized in the Central Business District. While at Voinovich, Steven won awards in Excellence in Sales and Teamwork.
In the pursuit of loftier goals Steven became the Vice President of DLS Development. His responsibilities included leasing, tenant improvements, and the management of Office and Flex Buildings. While at DLS, 6 commercial properties were constructed and brought to 100% occupancy.
In 1990 Egar Associates was formed to specialize in Suburban Office leasing and sales. Some of the National Clients represented by Steven are Cigna, American Express, Siemens Medical, and Sumitomo Marine Management.
In 1993 Crain's Cleveland Business awarded Steven the prestigious "40 under 40" award for the most exciting and business savvy entrepreneurs in the Greater Cleveland Area. Steven is frequently quoted as an expert in his field in Crain's Cleveland Business.
In 1999 Steven became a member of the Society of Industrial and Offices Realtors (SIOR). SIOR is the leading professional commercial and industrial real estate organization, a who's who of commercial real estate. The SIOR designation represents the most knowledgeable, experienced and successful commercial real estate professionals with members in 350 cities worldwide.
Steven Graduated from John Carroll University with a BA in Communications.
