As First Vice President in the Advisory & Transaction Services Group of CBRE, Inc., Steven Esposito specializes in the sale, development and leasing of retail properties. He focuses on tenant and landlord representation, location analysis, site searches, and business deal and lease negotiation.
During his 20+ years with CBRE, Mr. Esposito has assisted clients such as Advance Auto, Eat’n Park Restaurants, Arby’s, Outback Steakhouse, Verizon, Bob Evans Farms, Applebee’s, Office Depot, Save-A-Lot Grocery, IHOP, Panera Bread, National Tire & Battery, Wendy’s, Dollar General, Jimmy John’s, Massage Envy, Valvoline Instant Oil Change and Gordon Food Service in selecting and securing new store locations. He has also assisted developer/property owner clients such as Slate Properties, JP Morgan, JRA Development, Big R Management, Cedarwood Development and JC Bar Properties in the acquisition, leasing and disposition of investment properties. Esposito is a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Mr. Esposito has over 30 years of retail real estate experience. He worked for Thrift Drug, Inc. (now Rite Aid) for six years where he was responsible for all store development and property management activities in a four-state territory. Those responsibilities included market studies, site analysis, new store development, acquisition of ongoing pharmacy businesses, existing store relocations, expansions and reductions, and negotiation of leases, lease renewals and terminations.
During his nine-year employment as Vice President of Real Estate for Eat’n Park Restaurants, Mr. Esposito oversaw all corporate real estate matters. His duties included all aspects of Eat’n Park’s restaurant development program including market analysis, site selection, negotiation and documentation of all business and legal matters, and directing the pre-development due diligence process. He was also responsible for property management and lease administration for all existing restaurants and excess properties.
