Steven Schechter is a single tenant and multi-tenant retail specialist in the firms Encino office. He exclusively represents buyers and sellers of retail investment properties throughout the San Fernando Valley and the greater Los Angeles Marketplace. With over 20 years of experience, he has been involved in over $300,000,000 worth of real estate transaction. In addition to his brokerage experience, Steven has been involved in the management, development and repositioning of various assets though out Southern California. Having managed a multi-million dollar family real estate portfolio for over 10 years, he was involved in the day to day decision making. Additional, Steven served as Director of Development for the AF Gilmore Company, the owners of the Original Farmers Market located at 3rd and Fairfax in Los Angeles. In that capacity, he was directly involved in the planning and construction of 2 notable projects, the Farmers Market Self Storage Project and a Trader Joes Anchored Retail Center. The principal perspective is what separates him from rest of the investment brokerage and provides a skill set to his clients not often found throughout the brokerage community. His vast experience gives him the ability to understand complex issues that often come up in transactions and reasonable solutions. Steven Schechter is a member of ICSC.
