Stirling Richmond is Senior Vice President of the CBRE Investment Properties Group and Private Capital Group. He has a highly specialized expertise in the acquisition and disposition of income-producing investment properties and development land. His specialization encompasses the comprehensive valuation and strategic marketing of office, retail, industrial, and multifamily investment assets, and development properties. Mr. Richmond has extensive investment real estate transactional experience providing strategic advice and transactional services for his private, public, and institutional investment clients, and he employs a strong understanding of all facets of real estate from leasing, valuation, investment sales, and development. Prior to transitioning into Investment Brokerage, Mr. Richmond was a senior financial analyst for the CBRE National Investment Team where he was involved in the sale, valuation, and financial underwriting of more than $2.5 Billion of income-producing and development assets. His role entailed his active involvement in preparing cash flow projections and other financial models using Argus Advanced DCF Software to analyze the acquisition and disposition of investment and development assets. Mr. Richmond specialized in retail leasing for SmartCentres and Calloway REIT, prior to joining CBRE Limited in 2008. His sales, negotiation, and finance skills were utilized to manage a portfolio of 32 SmartCentre and Calloway REIT power centres, interior malls, and regional strip centres. His balanced and versatile skill set allowed him to establish strong client relationships with retail developers, tenant representatives, retail brokers, and international, national, and regional tenants across the country. Mr. Richmond completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago (Dunedin, New Zealand), with double majors in Finance and Marketing, and has been a licensed broker since 2008.
