Bio
Sue Jamieson moved to Mammoth in 1968 and lived at Tamarack Lodge. Went though the school system here, even LeeVining. Worked at Berger's restaurant for 14 years. She traveled when ever she got a chance. Worked 3+ jobs most of the time (like everyone). Worked as a travel agent for a while. Had 3 wonderful children, as they grew up she worked around their schedules such as pre-school fund raisers...She launched and ran the highly popular Tour of Homes and headed the preschool ski days for 4 years until they moved on to Kindergarten. Then she coached in the Mighty Mite ski program. When they all got into school she started a custom paint business called "Just Faux Fun," check out some murals & fauxed walls in Roberto's Cafe, Gomez's, Mammoth Library, MHS school plays and many private homes for some finished work. This business has afforded her a creative outlet and the flexibility to work around her schedule. Now, with the kids older and off to college, she figured she could launch another new career without depriving them of Mom time! Real estate must be in her blood...Her grandmother was a real estate broker in LaCrescenta back in the 1950's-60's, her Mom, sold real estate in Mammoth in the 70's then in Atascadero in the 80's. Beth, her Aunt is currently in Real Estate in Santa Cruz, Pat another Aunt is in Real Estate in Albuquerque, New Mexico. And Nancy, yet another Aunt, is in Real Estate in the San Clemente area. Her brother Mark, and her parents are involved with Real Estate/development in the central coast area. She loves remodels and the potential everything could have. She loves Mammoth and the Sierras. She is in the back country every chance she gets, also in Winter she is on the mountain skiing as many mornings as possible. She loves the drastic season changes and not a day goes by that she doesn't look up and is thankful that she lives here. She is happy when others are out enjoying it also. That's what is satisfying about this field for her, being able to help people attain that appreciation of the surroundings also by finding that vacation home they are looking for. She loves working with her sister and the Riffels, meeting new people and learning new things is an added bonus to this latest turn in her life!
