Bio
Taylor Scheinman is a Senior Vice President in CBRE’s Brokerage Services group based in Midtown Manhattan. Since joining CBRE in 2015, Taylor has risen through the ranks, earning not one, but two promotions in 2018, while working around the clock to secure high-end office space for her clients, predominantly in the financial and TAMI (technology, advertising, media and information technology) sectors. Her dedication to the business and ability to connect with everyone—including clients, colleagues and even competitors—contributes to her reputation as a stellar broker.
Taylor is an integral member of CBRE’s Alternative Investments practice group in New York and has consistently performed as an important producer for the firm. Recently, Taylor has been on a team that negotiated over 400,000 square feet worth of acquisition and disposition deals for clients including Traxys North America, APG Asset Management, AlixPartners, Skybridge Capital and Riveron Consulting. In addition to her experience as a tenant representative, Taylor is also an experienced representative for landlords, currently serving on the agency teams for 461 Fifth Avenue and 590 Madison Avenue, leasing 255,000 square feet of office space.
Taylor recently led a team in negotiating two transactions totaling 75,000 SF for etc.venues—a London-based meeting and conference venue specialist—who were seeking their first U.S. locations. Her commitment to the company, traveling to London to meet with company stakeholders and willingness to understand the operational needs of the client led to a transparent relationship, allowing her and her team to grasp what they needed in order to succeed. After an exhaustive search and thorough due diligence, etc.venues is set to open its first U.S. outposts in Midtown Manhattan.
In CBRE’s New York office, she has set the bar for rising female producers focusing on the competitive tenant representation aspect of leasing. She is a member of CBRE’s Tri-State Women’s Network. As a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the Young Men and Women’s Real Estate Association, Taylor is recognized among her peers for her service and commitment.
Prior to joining CBRE, Taylor worked at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. There she was an integral part of a team focusing exclusively on tenant representation—advising corporate operators on strategies for local and domestic portfolio optimization and site selection.
