Concentrating his efforts on investment sales since entering into the brokerage arena, Ted Greenberg has become a major player in the St. Louis multifamily market. Licensed in both Missouri and Illinois, he has a broad understanding of property investment values and continuously works to stay current on market values, rates of return, and the financing available to potential investors.
With over 30 years in the industry and having personally owned over 200 buildings, Ted has extensive experience in commercial real estate consulting, sales, management and development. His style is straightforward and simple, providing clients with detailed information to help them make the most educated decisions possible.
Prior to joining Colliers International, Ted was most recently a Vice President with CBRE where he specialized in investment sales with emphasis on lender-owned real estate and multifamily sales. He began his career in 1980 managing and leasing retail and office investment properties. After this, Ted began purchasing and operating smaller multifamily buildings and assisting lenders to dispose of problem assets during the very high interest rate markets of the 1980’s. Subsequently, he became a real estate brokerage professional buying and reselling single family homes and commercial buildings working on distressed properties until the later 1980’s. In 1997, he began to sell off his buildings and redirect his focus into investment brokerage. Since the late 1990’s he has primarily focused on investor representation and transactional brokerage.
