Upon joining Colliers International in 1994, Ted quickly became involved with office brokerage for corporate clients. A specialized real estate education and knowledge of the corporate culture led to his assignment on large client accounts and experience with several national and regional technology, telecommunications, banking, and health care firms demanding a full array of acquisition, disposition, sublease, landlord and tenant representation services throughout Nebraska and Iowa. Ted’s corporate real estate clients include ConAgra Foods, CenturyLink Communications, First Data Resources, First National Bank of Omaha, Bank of the West, and Security National Bank.
Most recently Ted has focused on office tenant representation with recent clients including Aflac, CH2M Hill, Dex One, Hartford Insurance, Stinson Morrison Hecker Law, Wells Fargo Advisors, and Xerox.
Ted has also been an integral part of both urban redevelopment and suburban mixed-use development projects in Omaha. Downtown redevelopment projects covering over ten blocks and representing over $250 million of investment required project planning and analysis, as well as municipal negotiations, tax increment financing, site acquisition, and tenant relocation. Suburban projects have involved land acquisition, extensive zoning activities, and project management. Suburban projects include a 500,000 SF office and mixed-use buildings and a 120,000 SF secure federal building.?
