Terry Pendergist is a Senior Managing Director of Development Operations overseeing Accounting, Information Technology, and Talent Management and Talent Acquisitions for Greystar Development and Construction Services. Her accounting oversight includes a large portfolio of more than 94 active US development assets valued at over $11.4 billion, pursuit projects of over $9 billion, and over 70 completed assets. Terry is also a member of the Greystar Executive Committee.
Before joining Greystar in 2006 as a National Development and Construction Controller, Terry was Vice President of Development Accounting for Regency Centers, a national shopping center REIT based in Jacksonville, Florida, which developed over $600 million a year during her eight-year employment. Active in the real estate industry since 1996, Terry began her career in Virginia Beach, Virginia, working for Prime Real Estate Corporation and hotel owner and developer Edmund Ruffin. She holds a real estate salesperson license with the Commonwealth of Virginia, has served as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a 2012 graduate of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Charleston program.
Terry is an alumnus of Clemson University and holds a bachelor of arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems.
