Mr. Helm’s real estate experience spans over twenty-five years and includes the analysis of regional malls, lifestyle centers, neighborhood/community/power retail centers, theaters, gas stations & convenience stores, restaurants, mixed use developments, office buildings, residential subdivisions, apartment complexes, condominium conversions, hotels and resorts, industrial facilities, call centers, parking garages, and several specialty uses. His appraisals and consultations have been in conjunction with review and consultation, real estate portfolio valuations, internal planning, highest and best use analysis, tax analysis, financing, litigation support, sale-leasebacks, and insurable value studies.
Mr. Helm is actively involved in the Retail practice group, the largest specialty group in the firm, and is one of a select few that further specialize in regional mall valuations. Additional specialties involve Appraisal Management, which involves third party appraisal review for various banking industries.
