Bio
Thomas “Tom” Leachman joined the CBRE Multifamily Investment Sales Team in Washington, DC in September of 2014. Previously, Mr. Leachman worked in office leasing as a Tenant Rep Broker in Washington, DC at Avison Young.
Since joining the Team, Mr. Leachman has assisted in the disposition of over 187 apartment communities with an aggregate value exceeding $8.6 billion. Mr. Leachman specializes in the execution and marketing of multifamily property sales throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He has researched the areas of absorption, employment trends, new job creation, and other trends that affect the multifamily market.
Mr. Leachman earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia (2010), and is a member of YREP – Washington, DC (2012).
