Mr. Fox is a Senior Vice President of a Markets Team based in Cleveland, Ohio. In this capacity he advises and represents institutional and entrepreneurial building owners in the leasing of their assets. Mr. Fox also advises and represents local and national office space users on issues and options involving location, timing, ownership, leasing, development, space selection and build-to-suits.
Experience
Mr. Fox has over 18 years of leasing experience in the Cleveland Market. In that time he has completed over 500 office transactions totaling over $2 billion in gross value. Vacancy rates in Mr. Fox’s exclusive listings have historically been below 10% which is significantly below the market vacancy rate and half of what the vacancy rates were in competitor’s buildings.
Professional Accomplishments
• In 2002, Mr. Fox was awarded the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties “NAIOP” Office Deal of the Year for the lease of 47,000 square feet to Nationwide Advertising Service.
• In 2003 Mr. Fox won the NAIOP award for the Investments Sale of the Year for the sale of the Tower at Erieview.
• In 2004 Mr. Fox won the NAIOP Office Deal of the Year award for the 40,000 square foot lease to Lesco.
• Mr. Fox reduced the vacancy in The Tower at Erieview from 40% to 10% within 2 years of obtaining the exclusive assignment.
• Mr. Fox reduced the vacancy in One Cleveland Center from 25% to 8% within 2 years of obtaining the exclusive assignment.
• Mr. Fox pre-leased the Infinity Corporate Center in Garfield Hts. by completing a 45,000 square foot lease with Nationwide Advertising Service.
• Mr. Fox pre-leased the One International Place in Cleveland by completing a lease with the first tenant Battelle Memorial Institute fourteen months prior to the completion of the building.
• Mr. Fox has also exclusively represented clients in the acquisition of office space such as ITT Educational Services for 33,000 square feet, Boeing Commercial Airplane Group for 30,000 square feet, the headquarters of University Mednet for 33,000 square feet, BF Goodrich for 20,000 square feet, Level 3 Communications for 35,000 square feet, and over 10 leases with University Hospital Health System for over 75,000 square feet of space.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle Mr. Fox began his real estate career in 1990 at the Ostendorf-Morris Company/Colliers International. In 2001 he left Colliers International to became a Principal in Breen & Fox.

Mr. Fox is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR),Cleveland Area Board of Realtors (CABOR), and National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Mr. Fox has also served as an instructor for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) where he instructed a class on Leasing and Marketing Office Space for property managers.
