CAREER SUMMARY
Tom has over 14 years Commercial Real Estate experience in the Tampa Bay market. Tom has been involved in all aspects of industrial real estate including leasing, management, construction and development. Tom has also handled institutional portfolios and provided tenant representation services.
EXPERIENCE
Before joining the Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate Services group, Tom was Vice President for the Industrial and Office Services Group at Grubb & Ellis. Tom handled transactions for Sokkia, Pasco Beverage, MetLife and IBM to name a few.Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis|Commercial Florida, Tom was Manager of Real Estate for the Tampa Port Authority. Tom’s duties included leasing of over 350 available acres and Management of the Ports’ 115 tenants. He also oversaw leasing activities for the state-of-the-art Tampa Port Authority International Headquarters’ 82,000 square foot office facility. Tom also handled the acquisition of new properties and development for the Port Redwing, a new 150-acre Deep Water Port located in Southern Hills County. New lease revenue exceeded $7,000,000. Tom also spent five years as the Business Development Manager for the Pasco County Economic Development Council. Tom was in charge of recruiting and assisting manufacturers in their relocation to Pasco County, a suburb of Tampa. During his tenure, Tom’s efforts resulted in over 1,000,000 square feet of industrial and professional transactions. This position required extensive knowledge of county land use, code
and comprehensive plan as well as all local and state incentives programs. As Property Manager and Leasing Agent for VRS Realty Services Florida, Inc., Tom handled multiple
industrial and office portfolios for Principal Financial Group and Sun Bank of Tampa Bay.
EDUCATION
Tom received his Bachelor’s Degree at Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania and is currently enrolled in the Urban Land Institute Real Estate Development Certificate Program.
