Trace Elrod is a senior managing director in Newmark Knight Frank's Dallas office. A tenant representation specialist, Trace offers a unique engineering background and a proven track record for continuously delivering unparalleled results to his industrial, manufacturing, office and call center clientele. With an unmatched ability to deliver efficient and professional client services to both industrial and office users, Trace also offers an aggressive hands-on approach to negotiations with the focus on delivering client solutions to meet both operational and financial goals.
Trace joined NKF in 2018, upon the acquisition of acclaimed tenant representation firm Jackson Cooksey, which he joined in 2001. Trace's prior 10-year engineering career working for such companies as American Airlines, Vertech Systems, Halliburton and Lockheed Martin onsite at NASA has given Trace invaluable insight into management, budget forecasting, manufacturing brokerage and industrial sales. His ability to quickly understand the needs of his clients while mitigating the risks involved have made Trace one of the firm's consistent top producers. Trace earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and safety engineering from Texas A&M University.
