Bio
Over the past 28 years, Tracy King’s name and brand has become synonymous with Northeast Los Angeles real estate, an ode to her depth of experience and ability to thrive in the midst of the ever-changing marketplace. Though she is recognized as a top producing agent with several million dollar sales under her belt, it’s Tracy’s client-focused workmanship that has earned her the reputation of being the only choice for both the first-time home buyer and the seasoned investor. By approaching the practice of real estate as a means of helping people, Tracy’s model for success is measured by the overall journey and relationship that she cultivates with her valued clients. It’s more often the individual stories of triumph, not the end result, that stay ingrained in Tracy’s memory—a driving force behind her continued commitment. Buying and selling homes is often an emotional roller coaster and Tracy makes it her personal mission to be there for her clients every step of the way. Prior to finding her calling in real estate, Tracy held a myriad of professional roles that included working as a social worker, a chef, and a salesperson and technician for computer equipment. Only in hindsight would it be revealed just how much these distinctive experiences contributed to her repertoire of talents—as well as resurfaced in her ultimate career as a Realtor. For instance, Tracy’s knowledge of computer sales and marketing helped her transition her business from traditional advertising to digital marketing and paperless technology. Additionally, Tracy’s background in psychology proved to sharpen her emotional intelligence, a proficiency that she believes is oftentimes undervalued in her business. "First and foremost, real estate is all about people,” states Tracy. “So if you’re an accomplished communicator and listener, you can detect when even the most subtle human behaviors reveal themselves during an initial meeting with a prospective client or whilst negotiating with other Realtors." Understanding and navigating between the two opposing forces of real estate—the financial/legal side and the emotional side—affords Tracy’s clients a leg-up when it comes to realizing their real estate dreams. A pillar within her community, Tracy supports a number of organizations and is a member of TERA-The Eagle Rock Association, Eagle Rock Valley Historical association, the LA Conservancy, the Art Deco Society, and a former member of the Solheim Home board. When she’s not engrossed in Northeast L.A.’s real estate market, Tracy can be spotted enjoying a neighborhood walk, taking a yoga class, or being a tourist in her own city. --
