Tracy Maxwell, COO of Capitol Ranch Real Estate, has been in the real estate industry since 2010 working in ranch sales, marketing, advertising, and the day-to-day operations. Tracy and her husband, Cody Maxwell, started Capitol Ranch Real Estate in 2011 and have represented clients in over 55 counties throughout Texas. The company is ranked one of the top ranch real estate brokerages in the United States as recognized by The Land Report based on an analysis of company earnings, history, and transactions. In June 2021 Capitol Ranch Real Estate was also voted the Readers' Choice 'Favorite Real Estate Agency.'
As a Texas native, Tracy is known for her extensive market knowledge, devoted work ethic, and candid advice which has earned her the respect of not only her clients, but other industry professionals. Tracy was raised in Needville, Texas. She started to ride horses around age 3 and was rodeoing at the age of 5. Her childhood passion for horses, led Tracy to work eight years at Texas A&M University Large Animal Hospital - Surgery and Lameness Department, Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery – Racetrack Division in New Mexico and Texas, and a Montana cattle ranch. Her core mission is to promote land stewardship, and always have a solid base regarding the rural lifestyle.
Fun facts about Tracy are that for four years she held positions on PTO as President, Vice President, Membership/Communication, and Yearbook. She is also a Girl Scout Leader, Author: Soft Tissue Surgery – AAVET Equine Manual for Veterinary Technicians, use to gallop racehorses for her family who are racehorse trainers, and she raises registered Gelbvieh cattle with her husband and kids.
