Tyler King is an Associate Director in the firm’s New York office, where he specializes in both landlord and tenant representation in the New York metropolitan area. King joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF. He began his career with RKF in 2017. King has had success advising publicly traded REITs such as Acadia Realty Trust, Seritage Growth Properties and SL Green Realty. His roster of landlord clients also includes Brookfield, Rudin, Pan Am Equities, Asana Partners, Premier Equities, The Winter Organization and Wharton Properties. King currently represents Acadia at City Point, its 600,000-square-foot premier Brooklyn asset, where he negotiated CAMP’s 12,000-square-foot flagship as well as leases with Lululemon and with Casper for its first Brooklyn location. Recently, King negotiated Fjallraven’s retail lease at 406 West 14th Street in the Meatpacking District on behalf of the Winter Organization. He secured the first U.S. flagship for Amsterdam-based fashion brand Daily Paper at 18 Delancey Street in the Lower East Side and Cha Cha Matcha’s fourth Manhattan location at 501 Fifth Avenue. He also represented SL Green and Wharton Properties in the 70,000-square-foot relocation of Tiffany & Co.’s New York flagship to 6 East 57th Street. Prior to joining RKF, King was an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, where his accomplishments included the arrangement of a 49-year master lease of the retail condominium at the Carlyle House on Madison Avenue, which included luxury tenants Perrin Paris, Stubbs & Wootton, Vera Wang and Yves Delorme. King began his real estate career at Massey Knakal. Prior to real estate he worked at Ralph Lauren. King is an Associate Board Member with Harlem Lacrosse, a school-based non-profit organization that provides academic intervention, leadership training and lacrosse to at-risk students.
