Bio
Vicente is a 3rd generation Real Estate practitioner. His grandfather, Joe Ruterman, owned a residential firm and sold land in Arizona and is the reason Vicente has been hooked on Real Estate from such a young age. Vicente’s uncle, Mike Ruterman, practices Industrial Real Estate throughout Arizona and Mexico and helped him learn about the details of the business as well. Vicente has an extensive background in the hospitality industry and uses his hospitality skills to provide a high level of customer service to his clients.
Vicente went to high school in Tucson, Arizona where he excelled in sports and academics. He lettered in Volleyball, Track, Basketball and Golf, and performed hundreds of hours of community service while in Student Government all 4 years of high school. He graduated at the top of his class with the highest GPA of over 300 graduating seniors, making him the Cholla High School Valedictorian.
Vicente attended The University of Arizona on a full academic scholarship and kept his scholarship all 4 years, majoring in Regional Development. He continued playing volleyball with the Men’s Volleyball Team at the U of A and won the NIRSA National Volleyball Championship in 2005. Vicente was also a Founding Father of Sigma Pi Fraternity and garnered tremendous leadership skills from that experience.
While working with his former company Vicente earned the 2017 and 2018 Prospector of the Year Award for his work ethic and dedication to building his business. This included making over 10,000 prospecting calls in 2017. He was also on the multifamily team that completed the 2017 SVN Deal of The Year. Before leaving Phoenix for his new opportunity, the multifamily team Vicente was a part of was voted one of the Top 10 Multifamily Teams in Arizona by Ranking Arizona Magazine.
In commercial real estate, it can take years to develop a client base and start making deals in a new market. Vicente had to do that very thing when he moved from Phoenix to Salt Lake City in April of 2019. But less than 2 years later, Vicente finished 2020 as the Top 5 producer in Cushman & Wakefield’s Salt Lake City office.
Vicente now resides in Salt Lake City with his wife Ashley and 2 dogs. He plays sand volleyball in his free time and has a passion for helping underprivileged families with food, housing and other needs, both locally and in developing countries around the world.
