Bio
During his more than 30-year career in real estate sales, Vincent Carrega has worked with and on behalf of a wide variety of top-tier investor, corporate, institutional, public, private and individual owner clients. Active in all aspects of real estate-related investment sales much of Mr. Carrega’ deal activity has been highly complex, structured transactions – many of which have been considered high-profile development oriented deals that often have transformative effects on the very neighborhoods in which they occurred Some of these transactions have included sites at 1517-25 Third Avenue, 200 West 72nd Street and 350 Amsterdam Avenue. Other notable transactions during his career have included the bankruptcy-related sales of both Cabrini Medical Center and 555 Sixth Avenue, as well as the sales of 423 West 55th Street and 387 Park Avenue South on behalf of the lender. More recently he has completed assignments that include the long-term net lease of 234-238 East 85th Street to Mt. Sinai for conversion to a medical building, 250 Church Street in TriBeCa for office and the sale of 504-510 East 74th Street to Hospital for Special Surgery – a parcel that completed an assemblage for their long-term expansion. Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Carrega was an Executive Managing Director with Grubb & Ellis’ Investment Services Group in New York. During his 25-year tenure at Grubb & Ellis, Mr. Carrega was frequently recognized as one of the firm’s top-producing investment sales brokers and consistently earned membership in the “Circle of Excellence,” a mark of distinction reserved for the company’s top transaction specialists nationally. Mr. Carrega also earned the distinction of membership in Grubb & Ellis’ President’s Council, an elite group of professionals who balanced outstanding performance and dedication to the firm with exceptional client service.
