Here's the twist separating me from the pack! I spent 6 years as a caregiver for my aging Mom and realized I was at the tip of the ice berg which revealed to me what the future holds for Baby Boomers. There's a whole new world of responsibility on our doorstep! Surprise! Mom is coming to live with you here in sunny California, and so are the kids you thought had left the nest! It seems Multi Generational Living is sweeping our country and not a moment too soon! Oh my, what to do??
So I decided to combine my 30 years of selling real estate here in San Diego County with that of the current trend. My specialty is locating homes that provide separate places affording privacy yet, under one roof. Working with other experienced agents I find properties for extended families and also homes that allow for group living. There are group homes for the obvious, but in addition, I see the need for sharing luxury estates as an alternative after a spouse has gone rather than settling for the confinement of a retirement community.
San Diego's dream lifestyle is attached to a hefty price tag, so the concept of sharing a home for a multitude of reasons has now begun to take on new meaning.
