Bio
William H. (Bill) Edlund is a Founding Partner of Palmetto Commercial Properties, Inc. with 27 years of experience in leasing, brokerage, and development of commercial, industrial, and investment real estate. Edlund began his commercial real estate career in Charleston with the Max Hill Company in 1980. He then moved on to serve as a principal and stockholder with Disher, Hamrick and Myers in the early 1990’s prior to the establishment of Palmetto Commercial Properties, Inc.
A native of Minneapolis , Minnesota , Edlund graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has fifteen years of experience in technical sales and sales management with Fairchild Semiconductor and Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Additionally, Edlund has taken extensive course work with the Institute of Real Estate Appraisers , the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks, and the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute receiving his CCIM designation in 1985.
Edlund is a past-president of the Commercial Investment Properties Council and the South Carolina CCIM Chapter. He has served on the Multiple Listing Service Board and chaired the committee that established the Commercial Multiple Listing Service for the Trident area. Edlund is married with one child.
