Bio
William M. Fausone is responsible for the daily operations of the firm as well as working with the Investment Services and Equity groups. In addition, Bill provides brokerage services to a limited number of key accounts while primarily focusing on acquisition and development for the firm’s account. He joined the firm in 1989 and became a principal and COO in 1993.
Bill has acquired and/or developed in excess of 3 million square feet for the firm. In addition, he is involved in investment/brokerage transactions in excess of 1 million square feet per year for key clients.
In 2001, he structured Colliers International Real Estate Management Service, L.L.C., a joint venture with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker to provide property and facilities management for institutional and corporate clients. The joint venture has been extremely successful in its mission, and Bill continues to be active in the joint venture and represents the firm’s interest as a member of the four-person executive committee.
Further, he lead the firm’s involvement in the formation and the initial public offering of CenterPoint Properties, a new Real Estate Investment Trust, in 1993. The firm contributed approximately 30% of the assets that made up CenterPoint Properties at the initial public offering.
