Bio
Bill Hartman is a Vice Chairman in CBRE’s Midtown New York office. Over the past 33 years, he has been involved in more than 15 million square feet of leasing and sale transactions including the National Deal of the Year Award for the MONY Headquarters consolidation in New York City and most recently, life science, skyline-changing projects in London (Merck 240,000 SF at Kings Cross) and the Bay Area (280,000 SF at Alexandria Center @ Millbrae). His clients include Eikon Therapeutics, Cellectis, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., Roche, NYU Neuroscience Institute, M&T Bank and MVP Health plans.
Mr. Hartman’s professional background includes successfully obtaining his CPA while an auditor at Touche Ross & Co. and as a financial analyst for JP Morgan where he analyzed and reported to senior management about the interest rate risk of the then emerging derivatives portfolio.
Mr. Hartman is an active fund raiser for the Navy Seal Foundation, Gilda’s House and he is personally involved with programs and fund raising for the Children’s Scholarship Fund, a program that provides a top quality education to underprivileged at risk inner city kids. He is on the Advisory Board of Mount Sinai Medical Center.
