Yara Bashoor is dedicated to achieving the real estate objectives of her clients with the highest level of integrity, commitment and objectivity. Given her experience as an attorney, she is highly skilled at negotiation and problem solving. Additionally, with over 25 years’ experience in property investment, she has an in-depth understanding of the Florida real estate market.
Throughout the years, her one constant has been real estate. She and her mother manage their own real estate portfolio consisting of small multi-family and warehouse properties. In 2022, she designed and built her own custom home with a date of completion for Spring 2023. She fully comprehends the design, permitting and construction process.
Yara grew up in Fort Lauderdale where her family settled in 1976. She obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami in 1990 and interned at the renowned architecture firm of Arquitectonica. She subsequently earned a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Nova Southeastern University in 1996. Licensed in both Florida and California, she practiced law for over 18 years.
Given her entrepreneurial and creative spirit, Yara launched an eponymous leather goods company in 2013. She designed, marketed and sold beautifully handcrafted handbags. Her clientele included fashionistas, socialites and celebrities.
Yara is Colombian-American and speaks Spanish fluently. She also speaks French having studied the language during her summers as a teenager in the South of France.
Her favorite hobby is flying a Cessna 172 up and down the beautiful Florida coast.
