The Ballenger name has deep roots in the Rio Grande Valley. Those roots began when my grandfather moved to San Benito in 1908. Starting with few assets and a strong work ethic, he grew with the Valley and built a tremendous reputation as a pioneer businessman and civic leader. My father and uncles continued in his footsteps.
