Bewley Properties, Inc. is a diverse corporation with its primary focus in contract warehousing, office complex and shopping center property management,commercial real estate brokerage, and commercial real estate development. BPI conducts business primarily in the upper East Tennessee area, including in the counties of Greene, Sullivan, Cocke, and Hamblen. Bewley Properties, Inc. previously had a focus in the automobile industry, with dealerships in Greeneville, Morristown and Bristol, Tennessee. Bewley Properties, Inc. started in 1980, by James Kent Bewley, with the founding of Bewley Oldsmobile-Subaru, Inc. At the time, the company also had a focus in the tobacco warehousing industry. After the peak of the tobacco industry in the East Tennessee area, Mr. Bewley and his father, Roswell R. Bewley converted the use of the warehouses to contract storage, rental, and product handling.
