Curtis Commercial LLC has been ?proudly serving Ann Arbor, Michigan for over 70 years. In 1947, George and Marion Curtis opened Curtis Chicken-in-the-Rough, one of the first restaurant franchises in the United States. The Main Street diner quickly became an Ann Arbor icon, and the most popular of the 235 Chicken-in-the-Rough locations. When the Curtis family sold the restaurant in 1962, George and Marion purchased several downtown buildings. This downtown investment in 1962 marked the beginning of what is now known as Curtis Commercial LLC. Two generations later, we carry George and Marion’s legacy, and their shared love for this town. We believe in providing beautiful space and excellent service at a fair price. We want our tenants to be successful, as our collective prosperity is the foundation of a vibrant Ann Arbor for all.
