The Dream Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (Dream Industrial REIT) is a publicly traded subsidiary of Dream Unlimited Corporation. It operates over 330 industrial properties across Europe and North America, spanning over 70 million square feet. Outside of its direct holdings, the REIT holds a 25% interest in a private industrial fund in the United States, and a $500 million equity interest in the Dream Summit JV, a joint venture between the REIT and GIC that acquired the Summit Industrial REIT in 2023 and holds over $6.5B in AUM in industrial properties across the United States. Property investments held by the REIT are heavily skewed towards distribution and warehousing. The REIT’s portfolio’s geographic distribution has a strong presence in major markets, with the Toronto, Calgary, and Montréal markets holding the most property investments. Investments in Europe tend to be concentrated in the Netherlands, with Germany and France also having significant holdings.
